Karen Linstedt Delavan

California native Karen Linstedt Delavan earned her BM in piano performance at the New England Conservatory, her MM in collaborative piano from Juilliard, and was a fellow with the Juilliard Opera Center. Delavan has worked for more than 25 years as a freelance coach and recital accompanist in the New York area and has played recitals at Weill Recital Hall, Westminster Choir 大学, and Cairn University. She has been adjunct faculty at Long Island University and the Hartt School of 音乐 and had two fall residencies at UT Austin—Butler Opera Center in 2015 and 2016. She is adjunct faculty at Seton Hall University and Far Brook School, and she substitutes regularly as an accompanist at Montclair University. Delavan has held music staff positions with companies including Santa Fe Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, 萨拉索塔歌剧, Boston Lyric Opera, Light Opera of New Jersey, Michigan Opera Theater, and Spoleto Festival USA. Artists she has worked with include Victor DeRenzi, 简·格洛弗, Ernst Haefliger, 乔治Manahan, 詹姆斯之一Meena, 乔Rescigno博士, Stewart Robertson, Emmanuel Villaume, 艾莉阿梅尔, 汉斯热, 马丁Isepp, 马丁·卡茨, 玛丽莉娜叶, 赫尔曼猎物, 哈维·夏皮罗, 爱德华Zambara, 尼科卡斯特尔, and Julia Faulkner. She resides in New Jersey with her husband and three children.
